CFM in Rutshuru (DR Congo) by The Rev. Desire Mukanirwa Kadorho During our
spiritual ministry in Rutshuru, 90 people committed their lives to
Christ, and a healing prayer followed. Pastors’ seminar was led by
the Revd Desire. 16 participants were empowered on Christian
Formation ministry and for 4 days long. There was also a focus on
the Mission and evangelism. This ministry is very inspiring and has
led church leaders rethinking on their substantial calling. At the
moment, there have been new CFM groups in some churches, and new
churches have been created and this is the outcome of the intensive
teaching received during the recent yearly empowerment in Goma. Also
there were testimonies stating that this ministry is helping very
much in building up Christian faith to believers and also combating
false teachings and heresy that are rampant in the societies. There is need of enough CFM materials like books,
Bibles and hymns of praise and worship when they gather. In some
areas there is also need to start an adult literacy programme to
help participants/followers read and write. Photo

seminar to happen. Everyone helps out in whatever way they can so
they need to ask only for support for transportation expenses for the leaders
and for the materials (CFM books). The participants take great joy
in the
hard work because it enables them to be fed with the Word of God.
